Deck Building Questions, Answered
How much does a deck cost in the Austin area?
Most decks we build in the Austin metro run $15,000 to $45,000 installed. Pressure-treated pine runs about $15 to $25 per square foot installed, cedar $30 to $45, Trex or TimberTech composite $35 to $55, and Ipe hardwood $50 to $75. A 300 square foot composite deck typically lands around $20,000 to $30,000. Permits and HOA submissions are included in our fixed-price quotes.

We are based in Liberty Hill and build across the Austin metro and Central Texas: Austin, Georgetown, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Leander, Liberty Hill, Pflugerville, Hutto, Taylor, Jarrell, Lakeway, Bee Cave, Spicewood, Lago Vista, Jonestown and Dripping Springs.
What do you build besides decks?
Covered patios and patio covers, pergolas, custom gazebos (including hot tub enclosures and screened gazebos), sunrooms and screened porches, deck railings, outdoor kitchens, and deck repair and replacement. We do not build fences.
Do you handle permits and HOA approval?
Yes. We pull the permits, schedule the inspections, and prepare HOA architectural submissions for you. In most Central Texas cities a deck needs a permit if it is attached to the house, more than 30 inches above grade, or over 200 square feet.
How long does it take to build a deck?
Most decks take 2 to 4 weeks of construction once permits are approved, and permits typically add 2 to 4 weeks before we break ground. Covered patios and larger structures usually take 3 to 5 weeks.

Yes. We give a fixed, written price that includes materials, labor, permits and cleanup. The number you sign is the number you pay, and the same crew builds your project from start to finish.
